Infection Control in Education and Children's Services

Training aim:
To provide basic information about standard precautions and their application in education and children's services.

Learning outcomes:
Participants will have information about how to establish and apply standard precautions in education and children's services.

Content:
An overview of standard precautions.

Prerequisites:
Nil, although a knowledge of the DECS Health support planning guidelines is an advantage.

Materials:
Nil.
You’ve got what? (Department of Health 2005) is a key reference.

Presenter/s:
Environmental health officer, nurse or other relevant health professional

 

 

Duration: 2 Hours

Cost:
$50 for a course organised by chess or $130.00/hour plus GST for a regional/group booking for up to 25 people.
