Continence Management in Education and Children's Services
Training aim:
To support safe and appropriate continence management in education and children's services.
Learning outcomes:
Participants will have information about how to establish and monitor safe continence mangement practices in their worksite.
Content:
An overview of safe continence management policy for education and children's services.
Skills training in continence management in community settings.
Prerequisites:
Nil, although a knowledge of the DECS Health support planning guidelines is an advantage.
Presenters:
Registered Nurse.
Duration: 2 Hours
Cost:
$60 for a course organised by chess or $130/hour plus GST for a regional/group booking for up to 25 people.
Relevant for:
Education and childcare workers (teachers, support staff, trained and untrained childcare workers, Access Assistant Program staff).
The course can be customised to the sector and setting in which workers are employed.
Note:
