Anaphylaxis e-training course provided through Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) ASCIA anaphylaxise-training provides ready access to reliable anaphylaxis education for school and children's services staff. This training is available at no charge through NOTE: The Department for Education and Child Development staff are required to do face-to-face first aid training on anaphylaxis management prior to administering adrenaline via an auto injector. This face-to-face training is available from Red Cross in the Department for Education and Child Development (ECD) BELS course and as an additional training module. The ASCIA e-training can be done as a refresher or adjunct to the rquired training. This e-training course contains additional useful information about anaphylaxis (eg managment strategies) to that offered in the first aid courses. |

Asthma First Aid Training The Asthma Foundation SA runs free Asthma First Aid Training in schools and preschools to support staff to better manage an asthma attack and to become more confident in responding to an asthma emergency should it happen in the classroom. |
