Medication Management Debriefing and Policy Review

Training aim:
To support staff to debrief and review worksite medication management as part of medication incident management.

Learning outcomes:
Participants will be able to debrief medication incidents and review policies and procedures in relation to medication management in their worksite to understand the reason why the incident occurred and minimise the risk of further incidents.
This course is consistent with, but does not replace Medication Management in Education and Children's Services.

Content:
A review of safe use of medications management policy for education and children's services and identification of areas for review and further training where required.

Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours

Cost:
$130/hour (plus GST) for up to 25 participants.

Relevant for:
Education and childcare workers (teachers, support staff, trained and untrained childcare workers, Access Assistant Program staff)
Other community service workers responsible for medication management in their worksites.
